Run

1:10 today on the trails with Dan and Dave. Good times. Felt it the last 10 minutes. Now I'm feeling it in the calves.

The Montrails are possibly the best shoes I've ever owned. Perfectly comfortable from the git-go. A very different experience from running trails with my very slick 851's.

Got Dan's 41mm Chen Shin CX tires wedged into the X-Check. Had to deconstruct the fender a bit (fender, front derailleur, or tire...pick two). Feel fast, and really beefy. Real ride hopefully tomorrow and maybe all week. Now I have a bike with a 22.4 ETT and a 70mm stem with Mary bars. I would expect it to feel cramped, but it really doesn't even with standing climbing. The forward bend of the Mary's is a nice thing for getting the controls out of the way of knees.
