I simply drilled a paint stick with two holes 200mm apart, and one hole 50mm from one of the others. Just big enough to fit the shock bolts.
I then leveled the axles with the floor and measured the distance from the axle center to the floor at full extension and full stroke.
Do the math and it works out to 125mm or 4.92"
Only after doing this did I realize that 2 inches of stroke is actually 50.8mm. At 2.5:1 ratio, this would translate to another 2.0 mm at the axle or 127 mm travel. Otherwise known as 5.0 inches.
