58 hours: Day 3

Interbike

Dang this place is big.

Met up with my buddy and had a great time just browsing through the place. Random highlights and products I liked below.

Rase Seatpost
Well constructed, seems like the real deal, but you need an un-interrupted/unbent seat tube. I thought the Maverick adjustable seatpost on Mikesees box was a POS.

True Precision Stealth hubs
Very nicely machined, unbelievable, instant (instant) engagement. Totally silent. What more would you want? Well, they are a bit on the porky side. The only downside I can see. I'd try a set.

Lots of new lighting products in LED world. I favored the Light and Motion and Lupine products. The HID is dead at this point IMO. New batteries, and more powerful LED's make this an exciting time. Maybe this winter I upgrade the lights.

Met Padre, Madre (Congrats!), and Francois at the Niner bikes booth. The all white Jet 9 was beautiful, just beautiful. Seems I forgot I had a camera amongst this crowd.

Always creative Calfee

Devin's new anodization looks good. I talked with him briefly. No news, but nice to put a face on the guy.

My overall favorite bike of the entire show. Just struck me right.

Too bad it retails at around eight grand.

Finished browsing the show, said goodbye's again, cursed the Vegas traffic again, and got home that evening to be greeted by this:

This is what happens when your big sister launches you down the driveway in the baby jogger.

Play safe folks.
