Lap Right Colon

When these work they are pretty brilliant.

20-30cm of colon and distal small bowel (tumor is at the end of the little blue stick at the upper left).




Three incisions




The largest of which is 3cm.
 

Three days in the hospital with minimal opiates for pain relief.

I have had three similar cases in the past few weeks.  Two were lap, one ended up converting to open.  The open case stayed in the hospital several days longer.
