Good Clean Fun

Up before dawn with Dan to ride Granite Basin.

Up 37 down 40, down and back on Mint Wash, then the techy climb out. Both SS. Him rigid, me on the MM.

It was most excellent. We both needed the ride. It is truly great to have someone you are sort of equally yoked with. We ride similarly. I am not so much off his pace on the climbs that it is annoying and can hold my own in the techy stuff. Riding rigid handicaps him enough that I can stick on the downhills.

Beyond that, we both have young families and need to ride early. We both have a faith in Christ that binds us.

A great ride at a great time (perfectly cool this am), on pretty much perfect bikes (neither of us would change a thing with our current set ups, they are telepathic), with a well matched partner, fellow father and brother.

Pretty hard to beat that.

Sounds great. I am envious. I am riding alone on the SS tomorrow, but it is better than not riding at all.
