Replaced the right upper oil seal and stanchion scraper last night, about 45 minute job (for me). The hardest part was getting the old one's out.
Rode it 1.5 hours around Thumb butte today, and it's still like buttah, not leaking, and holding air. Hopefully it will stay fixed. Not sure why the prior seal blew.
I'm glad I went with the flows for the new wheels (not built yet), because this fork encourages every bad behavior, alternate line, jump I can find. You sort of feel invincible. Again, I was going off and over rocks that required commitment to clean. This is something I truly have had a mental block against. The moves aren't hard, but require you to go for it because there is no easy way out without a bit of a crash. This is a huge progression forward for me.
