Little Granite Trail 37

Through new eyes...

Took the day of biking for the Josh visit and family hike.

FWIW, it takes a three year old an hour to climb the mile up to the gate, and 45 minutes back down. A pace distinctly unlike the 20 minutes up, 5 minutes down on the bike. I got to see some scenery for the first time. The steep parts also didn't seem so steep walking.

More on the fam blog.

A mile is a loooooong way for a three year old!

I think I went on my first backpacking trip when I was three, five miles in two days, and it seemed like a truly epic journey.

Still THE earliest thing I can clearly remember.

Two miles if you count the downhill.

All these kids are runners if you get them out. They never seem to wear out, and wearing them out just makes them stronger the next time!
