Talked with Josh today. He is in great spirits. His speech seems unaffected, and certainly no worse. Pain and nausea are much improved. Unfortunately, his arm is still paralyzed, and so is his leg now. He seemed so up beat, however. First he said he was doing great. The I asked if he could walk: "well, no". Didn't seem to bother him in the least. Hopefully this is short lived peri-operative brain swelling.
Puts other things in perspective, no? What do I have to complain about.
Secondly, I must be the last person in the world to hear of Coldplay. I had honestly never (consciously) listened to one of their songs. On the recommendation of Haley, picked up the two year old CD X&Y. Wow, whiney, but wow, I was blown away, especially by Talk and Speed of Sound, which are the definite stand out songs to my ear. Very U2 ish, with a softer edge and less rocky sound. You all probably knew this, but they are a hit for a reason IMO.
Random thoughts.
