Very fast wheel build for me.
Dismantle old wheel, rebuilt with new rim and nips: 1:45 including food breaks, etc.
Totally move over brake rotor, cassette ring and spacers, mount tire, air up with Stan's, install and test ride, 2:30.
The breakthrough was: for the first time, I inserted all the spokes in the hub and went to it with the lacing. Not as bad as I thought, and I didn't have to relace an incorrectly placed spoke once, which is good for me.
El Comandante is tubeless!! Also has new to the bike silver hubs which look stunning if I don't say so myself.
Too bad I won't be riding until the weekend.
PS: Comments on the Arch rim stand, not as true out of the box as the DT, not too bad to build so long as you keep the tensions low. Still difficult to get super even tension due to out of roundness. Just have to accept 15% variation in spoke tension high to low.
Random thoughts.
