I got the IMV 100 hooked up to the Comandante yesterday, and after a little futzing with the brakes, was off and running in the back yard with the kids.
I had to borrow the front wheel and brake adaptors off the Curtlo, so I have a 185 in front now. I'm running a boat anchor of a Syncros stem, but that is all I had that would fit the short steerer in 31.8.
All I can say is that this thing is stiff, stiff, stiff. By far the stiffest (stucturally) suspension fork in all ways I have ever ridden. Just great for bouncing around slow speed, jump up and down the stairs moves I do with the kids.
First real ride today. The front feels a bit heavier. The IMV may be a bit of a gimmick, we'll see. It is clearly not a plush as a Reba, but that is not what I am looking for in this fork. I think it's a winner for this application (burly trail SS).
According to WB, the F135 has a bad oil seal on the damper leg. Good news, because I can replace this here and they are sending me the parts. This is the first problem with an F135 according to them.
I have all the parts I need to re-rim with Arch and Flows. I just need to find the time.
For sale: 2 DT TK 7.1 rims, and 2 Salsa Delgado disc rims. Scratched, but they have treated me well.
Random thoughts.
